This couple's grand and heartfelt three-day wedding extravaganza is a reflection of their shared values

Home is where the heart is.

In a world where tradition often reigns supreme, Saanya Sharma, one of the creative minds behind Three Entertainment, weaved her unique wedding story. Having woven unforgettable decor for countless couples, Three Entertainment turned its artistry inward as its co-founder prepared to walk down the aisle. Sharma, alongside her groom Rahul Vohra, hosted a three-day celebration, that was all things grand and fun.

It began with a roka ceremony on October 29, 2023, at Bastian, coinciding with the restaurant’s opening day and culminated in a heartfelt ceremony at Gallops.

Their marital journey, however, began much earlier, at the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya, where Vohra proposed to Sharma. Their shared passion for wildlife was visible in their roka ceremony themed the ‘Disco Jungle’.

The wedding ceremonies, on the other hand, was a reminder that the essence of love lies in the warmth of a home. This sentiment echoed through every facet of their nuptials, from the save-the-date invitations to the wedding decor and in-room hampers. Sharma shares, “We believe that a house becomes a home when it is filled with love. This is something Rahul and I hold very dear, and it’s exactly what we wanted our guests to feel. In each of our wedding festivities, we have tried to infuse this concept to make everyone feel a sense of belongingness and compassion that accompanies home.”

While the decor and designing were handled by Three Entertainment themselves, the wedding was orchestrated by expert planners MPIRE Events. Her two best friends and co-founders of Three Entertainment, Sanjana Shah and Aashna Lalwani, were Saanya’s backbone as she navigated through the whirlwind of emotions that came along with planning a wedding.

The festivities commenced with the mehendi ceremony, set against the backdrop of Manhattan in St. Regis, Mumbai. A fusion of vintage charm and contemporary flair, this celebration burst forth in a riot of colours and rainbows. Sharma donned an exquisite Shantanu & Nikhil ensemble, and Vohra, in a charming Abhinav Mishra fit. Thoughtful mementos like potted succulents that symbolise ‘Let Love Grow’, and rainbow keychains added a personal touch to this extraordinary affair.

The haldi and chuda ceremony followed suit on the next day, transforming the colour palette to sun-kissed yellows and lush greens, beneath a stunning sunflower canopy. Sharma and Vohra were adorned in a bespoke orange ensemble curated by Sharma's mother.

The wedding, themed ‘Love Laps at the Racecourse’, unfolded at Gallops, enveloped in a setting of white and red hues. Both the bride and groom donned the quintessential red, the bride’s lehenga emblematic of a mother’s eternal love, designed by her own mother, Ritu Sharma, and the groom, in a regal red Sabyasachi. With finesse and skill, ace makeup artist Shradha Luthra worked her magic to accentuate the natural beauty of the bride for all her looks. Many notable celebrities including Kabir Khan and Kartik Aryan, and celebrity stylist Saanya Vohra attended the wedding to congratulate the lovely couple. An afterparty at the Gallops Banquet Hall capped off the evening, as the newlyweds reveled in the euphoria of their union. Through the lens of Ombre By HJ, every glance, and every moment of this artful wedding was captured, marking a celebration that simply exudes magic and emotion.

The sangeet decor featured black mesh flowers throughout the decor. Taking a step further, Three Entertainment designed the center stage to be a reflective structure shaped like a home, embedded with infinity mirrors, symbolising the couple building a home together. Saanya dazzled in a statement Tarun Tahiliani, while Rahul exuded charisma in a Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna couture.

Many a few times, we see truly one-of-a-kind weddings, and with impeccable vision, planning, and decor, this wedding stands to reiterate the power of love, promising to illuminate joy, laughter, and cherished memories to its attendees.
