On November 15th, the North Indian wedding customs were followed. As a part of the Sindhi-Punjabi wedding, the couple had an Anand Karaj ceremony in a make-shift Gurudwara at Lake Como, Italy. Deepika opted for a red wedding lehenga by designer Sabyasachi. The most spectacular element of the ensemble was undoubtedly the veil which had incantation ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ (which roughly means ‘may you always stay married’) embroidered on the border. Her jewellery comprised of a maang tikka, nose ring, multiple rings, and the traditional chooda and wedding kaliras.
On their way back from Italy to Mumbai, Deepika was seen in a raw silk suit featuring a red banarsi dupatta by Sabyasachi. She chose to couple this outfit with a pair of gold jhumkas.
At the airport, on their way to Bangalore for their reception, she was spotted in a cream Sabysachi anarkali, a pair of chandbali earrings, and tan juttis.

Post their nuptials and receptions, the couple took a getaway to the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings. Deepika wore an ivory Sabyasachi anarkali featuring an intricately embroidered dupatta, pairing it with gold chaandbali earrings and beige juttis.
Last but definitely not the least, how can we skip the star-studded reception party? Deepika wore a glamorous, custom-made Zuhair Murad high-low gown, while Ranveer was in a Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna tuxedo.
To end the night, Deepika traded fashion for comfort and slipped into squeaky clean white sneakers, from her red stilettos. I mean, the bride's gotta bust a move too!
