Aishwarya and Simrit's love story spans a manifested Coldplay concert to a Dubai destination wedding

What began as an arranged introduction unfolded into a globe-spanning love story, complete with a proposal at Tower Bridge and a three-day celebration in Dubai.

Some love stories begin with chance, while others feel almost written into the universe long before the couple meets. For Aishwarya Solanki and Simrit Gupta, their journey sits somewhere in between. What started as a traditional arranged introduction slowly evolved into a modern romance shaped by distance, shared adventures, and a touch of serendipity.

Interestingly, even before the two had met, Simrit had already bought two tickets to see Coldplay in London, saving the second for a future partner he hoped would one day join him. Months later, that small act of manifestation became reality when Aishwarya walked into his life.

Although their story began with an arranged setup, their connection quickly grew into something far more organic. From their very first conversation, there was an unmistakable ease between them. Over time, what began as introductions evolved into long-distance calls, frequent flights, and a growing excitement about building a life together. Over the course of a year, the pair nurtured a relationship rooted in trust, comfort, and a shared sense of certainty.

As their bond deepened, the couple planned a pre-wedding shoot in London, seamlessly tying in the concert that had once symbolised Simrit’s hopeful gesture. The trip turned even more memorable when Simrit chose Aishwarya’s favourite landmark, Tower Bridge, as the setting for a surprise proposal, creating a moment that would forever be etched into their story.

Their wedding celebrations unfolded in February 2026 at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, where the couple hosted an immersive three-day destination celebration blending romance, grandeur, and vibrant festivities.

The celebrations began with a soulful Sufi Night that welcomed guests into an atmosphere of warmth and intimacy. For the evening, Aishwarya wore a striking ensemble by Rahul Mishra, while Simrit opted for a refined look by Amit Arora, setting an elegant tone for the festivities.

Day two unfolded by the beach with a joyful haldi ceremony where sunshine and shades of yellow created a bright, celebratory mood. Aishwarya chose a playful look by Sav Arora Couture, while Simrit wore an outfit by Qbik.

The evening transitioned into a high-energy sangeet, filled with lively performances from the couple and their loved ones. Aishwarya dazzled in a sculptural creation by Amit Aggarwal, perfectly suited to the celebratory mood of the night.

The final day began with a colourful carnival-style beach party, complete with vibrant installations, upbeat music, and a carefree seaside spirit. Later, the wedding ceremony unfolded against a serene waterfront backdrop framed with soft pastels, ivory tones, and cascading floral arrangements.

For the ceremony, Aishwarya chose an intricately crafted lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani, paired with statement emerald jewellery that added a regal finishing touch. Simrit complemented her in a classic ivory sherwani by Rohit Bal, creating a timeless and sophisticated pairing.

The celebrations concluded with a glamorous reception where guests arrived in red-carpet-ready ensembles. Aishwarya changed into a striking look by Qbik, while Simrit opted for a contemporary outfit by Amit Aggarwal, closing the celebrations with a stylish, high-energy soirée.

From a hopeful pair of concert tickets to a proposal in London and a grand destination wedding in Dubai, Aishwarya and Simrit’s journey is a beautiful blend of tradition, timing, and manifestation. Their story is a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful love stories begin unexpectedly, and that when the timing is right, even the smallest gestures can turn into lifelong memories.
