Model and reality-TV star Kendall Jenner has been a loud voice for the #FreeTheNipple campaign, which fights the convention of allowing men to appear topless in public while considering it lewd for women to do the same. Back in 2017, she mentioned she doesn't think 'going braless is a big deal' on her website.
The model proved once again she doesn't shy away from a cause she believes in when she showed up at the Chopard party at the 71st annual Cannes Film Festival wearing a sheer, bare-all dress.
The model also posted a picture of herself from the party on her Instagram with the caption 'oops', making light of the moment and proving she has a sense of humour as well.
This isn't the first time Kendall has gone braless. Constantly posting pictures of herself with the #FreeTheNipple hashtag, the model also appeared in a sheer number at the Longchamp Fifth Avenue Store opening in New York.
Earlier this year, Kendall posted a note on her website saying she was taking a break from updating her app and there has also been news she wants to quit the reality show she stars in with her family - Keeping Up With The Kardashians. This has led fans to believe that Kendall is going on a sabbatical and/or decreasing her appearances in public to lead a more private life. However, Kendall's Instagram account and her appearances at a number of events nod to the fact that she is focusing on work.
Here's hoping whatever she's up to, she continues the good work and keeps fighting the good fight.
Closer home, singer Anushka Manchanda has been campaigning to #FreeTheNipple. Manchanda has been constantly slut-shamed with trolls commenting on her morals and body type every time she's posted in support of the campaign.
