"Roma Hemlani, another SHIVAN & NARRESH contemporary bride decided to go all out for her tribal theme cocktail party where she embraced the iconic Chui Lehenga from Koi Series with the ornate Pearl Deco Signature Skeinwork and delicate Chinar Leaf details styled with minimal tribal pearl jewellery. The couple, twinning in Koi Series did complete justice to the theme as the pieces from the series drew inspiration from the tribal Gond Art of Madhya Pradesh that was translated into prints and signature skeinwork techniques,” the designers say.
Izu Juno from Araki Series was chosen as a key print for the event that was also designed by the brand as an extension of SN Celebrations. The print, inspired by the vivid themes of life focusing on dense botany, portrays the true symbol of love and illustrates the fragility of life that was incorporated in the details such as the dining plates and lounging sofas.
"Whereas the bride’s outfit was concerned our focus has always been to make her feel at ease and enjoy the celebration as her guests would. With twinning becoming a raging trend and an expression of the bond and togetherness that the couple shares, Ankita and Ranjit also opted to embrace the trend in the most sartorial way,” say the designers.
Bride Ankita Sapra opted for the Izu Juno Lehenga with the Sapphire Ruched Blouse for her Sufi Night Celebrations while groom Ranjit wore the Celebration Jacket with Sapphire Celebration Trousers in azure cobalt hues from the same collection.
"It was not only a very bold move for the choice of the theme but also how the Millennial couple decided to interpret it while keeping in minimal and graceful,” say Shivan and Narresh.
“Ayushmita Sinha Sahni from Delhi chose a very joyous ‘carnival’ poolside theme for her pre-bridal celebrations in Hua Hin, where she chose to wore the SHIVAN & NARRESH Herb Gown from Koi Series, which is synonymous with the festivities of a carnival combined with the immaculate Trident Skeinwork, the play of colours as the couple embraced twinning in the brand. Arjun wore the vibrant Iconotribe Bandhi Jacket complimenting Ayushmita’s look," they say.

Shivan and Narresh also created another key look for this bride for her Mehendi ceremony, which was a Coal Tribal Raffiya Bustier with Koi Coal Skeinwork Trousers. They called it an "honestly a very bold and unique choice for the occasion.”
"The lehenga acts as a symbol for the modern millennial Indian bride, embodying the spirit of a traditional attire yet adorned hues, skienwork techniques and embroideries enveloped in modern sophistication," they say.
