Swiss watch manufacturer Rado, famous for their innovative designs, and some of the world’s most durable watches, opened a spanking new monobrand store at Delhi IGI Airport on February 14, 2018, and the guest of honour was none other than Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.
This outlet is the first time the brand has opened a monobrand store at an airport. The new boutique features sleek and textured materials in muted tones, and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere fused with modern architecture and specially crafted elements, which are reminiscent of Rado’s distinguishing design approach. This store is a one-stop destination for visitors to indulge in the world of Rado and experience the minimalist design combined with innovative materials that the brand offers.
Ambassador Hrithik Roshan unveils the Rado monobrand store at Delhi IGI Airport
At the launch event, Hrithik Roshan said, “I congratulate Rado on this achievement and I am excited that the brand is now available at one of my favourite airports in the world. I have been with Rado for six years now and I am elated to see how it continues to grow and expand across the Indian market. I wish Rado success on this new endeavour.”
The CEO of Rado, Matthias Breschan expressed his excitement for the new airport store, as it further expands the availability of Rado watches in India. Interestingly, the Delhi IGI Airport is the busiest airport in India, with an annual figure of 63.3 passengers visitors. The airport has a renowned world-class retail experience.
This store will offer a relaxing atmosphere, a far cry from the hustle bustle that goes on at the airport. Who knows? Maybe this store will convert some more into loyal Rado enthusiasts.
