2017 was bizarre for a number of reasons. Donald Trump got elected as the president of the United States of America and a woman claiming to be a mermaid was picked up by cops in California. Closer home, momos were almost banned and a college principal said that dressing like men (read: wearing jeans) caused hormonal imbalances in women. In the 12-month madness that was 2017, there were also a number of peculiar trends that dominated the beauty industry. Not least of them was unicorn-inspired makeup, which caused an entire generation of adulting millennials to turn into rainbow-pooping, bubble-residing nincompoops.
Thankfully, it's a new year, and sanity has prevailed (more or less). But, if you're still crushing over unicorn-inspired hair, nails, or makeup, here's 5 reasons you need to stop now!
