Katrina Kaif Shares Her Fitness Tips And Tricks To Look And Feel Amazing

“Yoga is one of my favourite forms of exercise to connect with my inner self. I think it helps you in so many ways, bringing calmness to the mind. ”

Being in your healthiest shape is essential on your wedding day. Brides Today sits down with Reebok’s ex-brand ambassador Katrina Kaif to learn exactly how to look your best.

Brides Today: What advice do you have for brides when it comes to being healthier?

Katrina Kaif: Eat right and exercise. You only have one life and one body. I’m not recommending any particular kind of exercise or saying that one body type is best, but it’s about feeling good. It’s about mental peace, discipline, and the sense of achievement that you get from a workout regimen.

BT: How do you curate the perfect fitness outfit?

KK: There is no perfect outfit in my opinion. It certainly depends on my mood and what I’m feeling on that day. However, with a range as extensive as Reebok, I always find something for every mood. I think it’s great to be able to have that variety in one portfolio.

BT: If you had to live in one Reebok product for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

KK: I can’t choose one; all the products are really amazing and come in different styles. But my wardrobe is filled with a lot of their crop tops and sweatshirts.

BT: Is it essential for you to be with a partner who also follows an equally healthy lifestyle?

KK: Everything is easier when you have a friend to do it with. While I love the meditative experience of having a healthy lifestyle on my own, I think it's a great excuse to have someone join for fun, who also happens to have similar interests. It can help you focus on your goal for a longer period of time. It’s a fantastic feeling to achieve a goal, and it can be even better when you achieve it with someone else.

BT: One form of exercise you would recommend for brides.

KK: Yoga is one of my favourite forms of exercise to connect with my inner self. I think it helps you in so many ways, bringing calmness to the mind.

BT: If you could work out with anyone in the world, who would you pick?

KK: Yasmin Karachiwala, my trainer in Mumbai.

BT: Is there one tip that she has taught you that you believe would be beneficial for a bride?

KK: Yasmin has introduced me to new forms of exercises, which keeps my workouts interesting and fun. Now, I’m more open to different kinds of fitness activities, so I would recommend switching the routine up, especially before your wedding.
