Flowers have long been at the heart of wedding celebrations, but these floral designers are redefining tradition with bold creativity and artistic vision. From towering installations that command attention to delicate arrangements that tell intimate stories, these florists are elevating wedding decor into a realm of timeless artistry. With an eye for detail and a flair for innovation, here is our list of florists turning every celebration into a masterpiece to be remembered.
PRESTON BAILEY
Since the launch of the eponymous label in 1980, Preston Bailey has created opulent backdrops for some of the most illustrious celebrations—the Ambani wedding being a recent example. Renowned for more than just florals, the sublime installations of the New York-based premier floral designer are cherished globally and known for fabulous customisations. The brand’s versatility, ideation and execution also make them a favourite among celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams and LeBron James.
CASAFLEUR
Since 1998, CasaFleur has steered the industry away from fleeting trends and crafted bespoke floral designs. “Our approach is rooted in understanding the client’s vision and weaving it into every element—from decor to the smallest detail—making each event one of a kind,” says founder Gaurav Makhija. Renowned for their versatility, this New Delhi-based brand orchestrates everything from contemporary destination weddings to traditional, intimate celebrations, proving their creative and geographical reach. “A standout wedding for us remains the one where the bride wanted a convergence of traditional and modern. It resulted in a fresh, purple floral twist on the classic hue of red.”
INTERFLORA
Building a floral network with over 200 growers, Interflora has saturated the Indian floral gifting market with their artisanal luxury bouquets and floral décor. Founded in 1923 as a telegraph network for florists, they commenced operations in India in 2017 under the leadership of Anuja Joshi, establishing a supply chain of handcrafted floral designs. With sustainability at their core, their portfolio is as abundant as it is diverse, counting Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, and Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha among their celebrity wedding clients.
FERNS N PETALS
Founded in 1994, Ferns and Petals now has a presence in the UK, US, Australia and Qatar, effortlessly bridging local and global trends. “For Indian weddings, we ensure that we bring the best of global trends here, especially with flowers like cymbidium orchids, Hypericum berry, hydrangeas, and more,” says Meeta Gutgutia, co-founder of the FnP Group. From transporting serene English gardens to the traditional settings of Udaipur to curating a reception inside a hot air balloon in Qatar, their creations are unique and leave a lasting impression.
MAGNOLIA LANE
What was founded accidentally during the pandemic has now reshaped the nation’s wedding floristry scene. “Our floral decor makes folks feel something; it starts a conversation. That’s what we live for,” says founder Anshul Chawla. Sourcing premium flowers both globally and domestically, 1Magnolia Lane seeks to “make flowers a habit” by incorporating them into every element of their design. “For a wedding themed ‘Flowers and Light’ this year, our team of 300 florists worked for five days and nights, collaborating closely with the wedding designers, and created a visual experience that was larger than life and left the guests gasping.”
KUSUM
Brand Kusum boasts a distinct style, particularly inspired by the feel and beauty of an English country garden. “Nothing too contrived, nothing too convincing,” says Arshiya Khanna, a graduate of The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers who founded Delhi-based Kusum in 2021. Her penchant for niche floristry became a meditative journey for her, and she named her brand Kusum after her later grandmother. “The most memorable wedding we designed was in Mussoorie. Embracing the requested Bridgerton theme, we recreated the Regency era through cascading florals in soft pastels with roses, hydrangeas and peonies.”
BLACK TULIP FLOWERS
A veteran name in the Indian wedding industry, the brand is renowned for their exotic blooms with which they curate truly exquisite floral designs. With their unparalleled supply chain network, Black Tulip Flowers can source blooms from across the globe, including peonies, orchids, lilies and gardenias. “We believe that your wedding is a masterpiece waiting to be crafted and can make any concept come to life. For example, for a garden wedding, we’d source wildflowers,” says Mohamed Ali, operations manager. The brand was behind Alana Pandey and Ivor McKay’s nuptials that featured cascading white floral installations and sunflowers.
FLORIA INDIA
Born from a deep affinity towards nature, Floria crafts lush arrangements to transform a venue into a whimsical, botanical haven. “We believe in weaving the beauty of the outdoors into life’s most meaningful ceremonies,” says founder Ria Samrat Luthra. “Our goal is to create floral designs that are more than just decoration but a vital part of the couple’s story.” The Delhi- based florist embraces experimentation with unconventional colour palettes and floral varieties that allow myriads of customisations. Despite having worked with high-profile clients like Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda, Floria claims “all weddings hold a special place in our hearts but a few stand out for their creativity.”
KALIKAAR DESIGN
Ideal for weddings meant to exude grandeur while being culturally resonant, this Delhi- based florist draws heavily from historical architecture, art and local landscapes. “We include native craftsmanship into our designs and work with artisans, which allows us to infuse a sense of local flavour into our weddings,” says Ritesh Gautam, director at Kalikaar. Despite traditional influences, the brand stands out for crafting unforgettable experiences—evident from the G20 summit and Dior fashion show they helped design. “Our aim is to elevate floral artistry beyond mere décor. Our personalised approach and meticulous attention to detail serves as a distinct hallmark of our expertise.”
RANI PINK
For a more playful touch, Rani Pink décor by fashion designer Abhinav Mishra has a maximalist approach to floral designs. The brand also helps curate dreamy interiors by infusing boho décor elements into their floral arrangements. They are known for their elaborate floral canopies, drop ceilings, flower bombs and flower domes, often accompanied by iridescent payettes, mirror tassels, lamps and cascading drapes. This juxtaposition of elements has helped Rani Pink create a distinguishable design aesthetic, popular among notable clients like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Athiya Shetty and Katrina Kaif.
