Here's the signs that show he is ready for a long-term committed relationship.

1. He talks about his future and your future together

If a guy is telling you about want he wants to do in the future, then he might be interested in a relationship. He is telling you because he might be working out how you would fit into these plans. 'If he talks about a future that has you both, he definitely wants something serious and long,' says Dr Barmi.

2. He invites you to special occasions in his life

If a guy invites you to the occasions in his life that are important and special for him, he might want a long term relationship with you. 'This is an indication that he wants you to be a part of things that matter to him and wants you to understand him better,' explains Dr Barmi.

3. He tries to touch you more often

If he finds reasons to touch you, he wants you to know that you matter and he wants to build a relationship with you. This could be simple things, like a playful nudge to the arm, or an innocent arm around the shoulder or looking for reasons to hold your hand.

4. He shares every detail of his life with you

If a guy tells you every detail of his life to you, he wants you to know that he is in it for the long haul. He wants you to be a part of everything in his life.

5. He stands by you during every hard time in your life

If he is willing to be with you through the hard times, you should know that you are important for him and that he is serious about you. This may mean that he is ready to commit and be there for you.

6. He cares about your friends and family and tries to engage with them

If a guy makes efforts to get along with you r family, it might mean that he wants to be a part of your life more holistically and know you on a deeper level.
