Picture this: your bachelorette party is coming up, and you’re in for a memorable time with your girl best friends as you celebrate getting married. There will be free-flowing drinks, ample snacks, plenty of inappropriate games, and of course memories to last a lifetime!
And we’re here to help on the games front with our curated list of ideas that are sure to go down a blast with all the guests.
A mini scavenger hunt
Scavenger hunts at parties never get old but can get a little tiring. If you want all the excitement of a scavenger hunt with a more laid-back and casual vibe, we suggest an indoor treasure hunt. Hide items like plastic rings or other trinkets around the house that you’re staying at for the party and add a little note with a small dare with each one. Then, all you’ve got to do is let the fun ensue.
An exciting twist on ‘Never Have I Ever’
This game is quite similar to ‘never have I ever’, except in this one you write down a list of statements related to the bride, and if that line applies to you, you take a sip of your drink. Some fun examples could be: “If you’ve known the bride for five years”, “If you’ve been to the wedding's destination”, and more.
The newlywed game
This is a popular bachelorette party game that involves a little planning ahead of your trip, but it’s worth it! Before your trip, email a list of questions to the bride’s partner related to the relationship. Then, ask the bride the same questions, and compare their answers. If the answer matches, the group drinks, and if it doesn’t the bride takes a swig.
How well do you know the bride?
This is another game that requires pre-planning—all you’ve got to do is compile a list of questions about the bride-to-be and then see who can get the most right answers. You know who's been paying attention all these years.
Bachelorette bingo
You can't go wrong with Bingo—everyone loves and enjoys it, so you don’t have to bother with long instructions and rules. You’ll find plenty of easy printable bachelorette bingo games online, but if you want to go the extra mile, make a customised template that has personalised prompts.
Pin the kiss
If you’ve played 'pin the tail on the donkey' as a kid at birthday parties then you’ll enjoy this one, too. Here the bride’s friends try pinning the cut-out of a kiss on her partner’s face. Whoever sticks their kiss closest to the lips wins the game. You can add another fun element to the game by giving the friends customised blindfolds that they can take home as a party favours.
