How this duo planned the wedding of their dreams in less than two months

Sparks flew between wedding designer Nishchay Gandhi and Jesicaa Siingh, the founder of luxury marketing agency Stanley Communications, when they first met at a mutual friend’s nuptials.

Nishchay and Jesicaa first met at a mutual friend’s wedding last year. And once they got talking, there was no turning back... As they began sharing their professional journeys and career milestones, the two felt an instant connection, and the conversation just flowed.

The next step

Over 50 fireworks went up in succession across a sprawling lawn, with Gandhi down on one knee. “He created the perfect ambience, and placed the most beautiful ring on my finger. All our friends were in on it and took out their mobile phones to capture the special moment. It was nothing short of magical,” says Siingh.

Leading up to the big day

The couple got engaged in March and were to tie the knot a mere month and a half later. Since they didn’t have the luxury of time, wedding planning kicked off soon after the betrothal. “Being in this profession, I had a clear vision of how my dream wedding would look. Themes are old school; I’m all for a monochromatic vibe, so we picked a colour for every function,” shares Gandhi.

Memories that will last a lifetime

“Despite the dearth of time, things fell right into place. Our families planned memorable events for us—replete with love, laughter, and an abundance of blessings. Those were surreal moments... When you manifest something from the heart, and it happens, it just feels like it was always meant to be,” the bride shares.

My advice
“While it’s important to look into every aspect of your wedding, avoid getting too absorbed in the details. Remember, your marriage is bigger than your wedding. Don’t sweat the small stuff, and take a moment or two to soak it all in,” Siingh adds.
