How is wedding photography different from regular photography?
"Regular photography comprises of a range of elements—you can stage a shot, control the lighting, or even do a retake. On the other hand, photographing a wedding is a different ball game altogether. A one shot game; either you have it or you don't. It's all about spontaneity—your senses need to be sharp and you need to be alert about what's going on, what's to happen next, and be ready to click. In wedding photography there are no retakes; there's no room for mistakes or 'missing the moment', as it isn't a controlled environment. In the end, it's all about being in the right place at the right time," explains Shrey Bhagat, co-founder of Knotting Bells.
"The two of them were certain, since the very beginning, that they wanted their wedding to be a collection of memories they can cherish and enjoy with their near and dear ones. The sole request I received from the couple was to capture their raw emotions. Therefore, it was our responsibility to ensure that the photographs capture and express who they actually are, in the true sense."
"The wedding was a whirlwind of emotions—an abundance of joy coupled with a few (happy) tears. The unconditional love between Rubina and Abhinav was so evident, such that all that was required was the click of a shutter. The camera managed to capture their emotions seamlessly."
"Rubina and Abhinav's love story was nothing short of a fairy tale to begin with. Hence, their stunning nuptials in Shimla—amidst the dreamy ambience and their loved ones—seemed as if it were torn out of a fantasy."
