Get your legal paperwork in order

If you have not already registered your marriage, this should be your first priority. Depending on your ceremony, you may need to formally register it with the relevant authority to make it legally valid. Keep multiple copies of your marriage certificate once it is done. You will need it for everything from name changes to bank updates. It might feel like admin overload, but getting this sorted early makes the rest of the process smoother.

Return rented outfits and jewellery

Between bridal lehengas, sherwanis, and statement jewellery, many couples opt to rent pieces for their big day. Once the wedding is over, it is easy to forget about return deadlines.
