Set against the backdrop of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, Deep Asnani and Zahra Ali Khan’s destination wedding unfolded from November 13 to November 16, 2025, as a deeply personal and visually rich celebration. Spread across four days, the wedding brought together Indian traditions with global influences, reflecting the couple’s journeys across cities, cultures, and experiences.
Both proudly Indian yet shaped by international lives, Asnani and Khan approached their wedding as a way to tell their story. From Milan to Shanghai to the Middle East, each event was designed as a chapter of their shared history. Their love story began online, sparked by a photograph Khan had posted from Fiji. A first date in London, years of long distance, and a surprise proposal in Dubai led to their grand wedding.
Aperol Affair and Sunset in Shanghai

The celebrations began with Aperol Affair, a relaxed welcome lunch inspired by Khan's university years in Milan. The setting was light and cheerful, with citrus accents, breezy decor, and an ease that encouraged guests to settle in and connect.
As the evening set in, Sunset in Shanghai marked the couple’s ring exchange on The Terrace, a nod to Asnani's time in China. This transitioned into Lost in Chinatown, an afterparty that transformed the ballroom into a vibrant, high-energy space. Guests dressed in shades of red, enjoyed dragon dances, and explored Indo-Chinese and pan-Asian food stations, making it one of the most memorable nights of the wedding.
All about their mehendi, haldi and sangeet

The next day unfolded at Cafe Del Mar with Bedouin Souk, a mehendi and haldi celebration inspired by Middle Eastern markets. Earthy tones, textured decor, and cultural elements created a warm, festive atmosphere. Guests enjoyed henna, themed cocktails, and curated gifting that added a thoughtful touch.
By evening, the mood shifted to Shab-e-Sama, a Sufi-inspired sangeet night. With arches, candlelight, and deep blue hues, the setting felt immersive and magical. A live performance by Bismil and an Afro-Bolly DJ set kept the energy alive, while custom-designed perfumes gifted to guests reflected Khan's passion for scent.
The wedding day

The wedding day began with a baraat across Yas Bay Lawn, followed by the ceremony titled 'The Promise Path'. Designed as an emotional journey, the ceremony built towards the pheras in a setting dominated by soft whites, blush pinks, and peaches.
The standout moment was Khan's entrance and the pheras, accompanied by live vocals, which added emotion to the ceremony. The celebrations continued with a refined hi-tea, allowing guests to take in the moment in a relaxed setting.
La Nuit Des Rêves

The final evening, La Nuit Des Rêves, brought the celebrations to a dramatic close. Hosted as a masquerade-themed reception, the ballroom came alive in black and red, with guests dressed in gowns and tuxedos.
A live performance by Bombay Rockers set the tone for a night of celebration, followed by the couple’s first dance, heartfelt speeches, and a joyful end to the four-day journey.
At its heart, Asnani and Khan's wedding was not just about bringing people together, but about sharing a life shaped by many places, cultures, and moments, all coming together in one unforgettable celebration.
