All the details from Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben's intimate Udaipur wedding

The couple honoured two faiths with intimate ceremonies shaped by love and intention.

When actress Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben tied the knot on January 11 in Udaipur, their wedding felt less like a grand spectacle and more like a reflection of who they are. After years of being together, the couple chose to honour both their faiths with a Christian wedding followed by a Hindu ceremony, surrounded by close friends and family. While the celebrations kicked off as an intimate affair, it concluded with a grand reception bash in Mumbai.

Sanon and Ben dated for over five years before finally deciding to take the plunge amidst the calm and grandeur of Udaipur. Family played a central role throughout the wedding celebrations. The bride's sister, actress Kriti Sanon, was seen right by her side, from helping her get ready to walking her down the aisle.

Beauty that felt like her

For Sanon, bridal beauty was never about transformation; rather, it was about feeling like herself. In an exclusive conversation with Brides Today, her makeup artist, Shradha Luthra, shared that the brief was very clear. The bride wanted a skin-like finish and a fresh, natural look. "Keeping the skin fresh and natural was non-negotiable. At the same time, since she had multiple ceremonies, it was important that every look felt distinct and intentional," Luthra shared.

For the Christian wedding, the approach was ethereal and understated. "For the white wedding, we went with an angelic vibe: soft, luminous, and effortless," she explained.

"On the other hand, the Hindu wedding look was about translating the beautiful peach and coral tones of her lehenga onto her face, creating harmony between the outfit and the makeup," Luthra added.

The most important thing, Luthra said, was that Sanon felt confident and comfortable in her skin. The aim was for the bride to feel like the best version of herself and to look timeless in her wedding photographs.

Celebrations with personality

Each pre-wedding event had its own identity. Sanon's sangeet look was bold and playful, with kohl eyes, a jhal on the head, a parandi, and a colourful lehenga. In contrast, the wedding looks were classic and restrained.

For the reception, the beauty look shifted again. A smoked-out eye paired with fresh lips complemented her ruby outfit, adding a modern touch while keeping the overall look balanced.

Moments that stayed

When asked about the most beautiful moment from the celebrations, Luthra shared that it was hard to choose just one. "But her Hindu bridal walk was beyond mesmerising. Watching her walk down the aisle, radiant and completely herself, was one of those quietly wholesome moments that stay with you as an artist," she reminisced.

As Sanon and Ben shared the first photos from the wedding on social media, the caption read, "I did. I DO. I will. Always & Forever (sic)." Congratulatory wishes poured in for the couple, and they finally brought the celebrations back to Mumbai with their grand reception. The bash was attended by the who's who of Bollywood, including Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, and Talwinder, among others.
