Here’s everything we know about Neeraj Chopra’s wedding to long-term girlfriend Himani Mor
The two time Olympic javelin thrower twinned with his partner in elegant pastel pink toned wedding ensembles.
Not all celebrity weddings need to be big and fat. Some can be under-the-radar, intimate and heartwarming—perfectly encapsulating that feeling of starting a new chapter. Just take Neeraj Chopra, for example, who married long-time girlfriend and tennis player Himani Mor this week. The two-time Olympic medallist popularly known as ‘Golden Boy’ and ‘Javelin Superstar’ tied the knot in a private ceremony in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh attended by close family and friends.
The 27-year-old tied the knot a couple of days ago and on Sunday shared the news of his wedding on his Instagram, taking everyone by surprise. "Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," wrote Chopra in the post.
The couple’s special day witnessed the two opt for pastel pink outfits. Chopra donned an ivory sherwani with a full-sleeved jacket and glossy button details that he paired with plain pants. Everything about the ensemble was pink, right from the doshala—a men’s stole around his arms—to his turban that was adorned with a red and golden brooch, choosing to pair the outfit with a Swatch Omega Mission to Pluto watch.
Mor looked stunning in a floral-embroidered lehenga paired with a sheer dupatta draped gracefully over her head. Her kundan jewelry was exquisite, featuring a heavy polki necklace, matching maang tikka, and a bridal nath. She completed the look with a pink chooda and red and silver bangles. Himani’s bridal glam was flawless, with a glowing dewy base, golden shimmery eyeshadow, soft eyeliner, glossy pink lips, a red bindi, and a sleek low bun.
