The childhood sweethearts celebrated their 11-year love story with a three day destination wedding in Hua Hin, Thailand.

Shrishti and Harsh's love story began long before dating apps, chance meetings or social media. The two first met as children at a dance class in Kolkata, where Harsh quietly developed a crush on Shrishti and found reasons to spend more time with her. Years later, in 2014, a text sent through a mutual friend finally brought them together. What followed was an 11 year journey of growing up together, building a life in Mumbai, and eventually deciding to say "I do" with a destination wedding that reflected everything they loved.

The couple planned every detail of their three-day celebration themselves, making sure each event felt personal while giving their guests an experience to remember. Set against the beautiful coastline of Baba Beach Club in Hua Hin, Thailand, their wedding balanced Indian traditions with Thai cultural touches.

The celebrations began with guests being welcomed with fresh flower garlands, cool towels, and welcome drinks after arriving at the resort. Traditional Thai dancers performed the graceful Rum Thai dance, immediately immersing everyone in the local culture. Throughout the weekend, guests could capture memories at a Polaroid wall, sip tea at a traditional tea stall, and even unwind with relaxing Thai foot massages between ceremonies.

The mehendi celebration felt like stepping into the world of Indian Bridgerton. Soft shades of pistachio green, lavender, and blush pink created a romantic setting. Along with getting their mehendi done, guests also enjoyed painting hand fans, giving them a personalised keepsake to take home from the celebrations.

The welcome dinner embraced the beauty of its seaside location with tropical decor that complemented the waterfront setting. Live music by an acoustic singer and guitarist added to the relaxed mood as friends and family settled into the festivities ahead.

The following day brought one of the most energetic events of the wedding. The haldi pool party transformed the beach into a colourful playground where guests moved between games of tug of war, limbo, cornhole, and beer pong. Fresh coconuts stamped with the couple's logo became everyone's favourite refreshment, while a custom perfume making station allowed guests to create fragrances unique to the occasion. Shrishti and Harsh made a lively entrance surrounded by their loved ones waving colourful ribbons, bubble guns, and smoke bubbles, setting the tone for an afternoon full of laughter.

The celebrations only got bigger at the sangeet, where family performances, dancing and music kept everyone on their feet. A popcorn stand added a nostalgic touch before the night flowed into a lively after-party featuring Russian dancers. Neon sunglasses and glowing light sticks transformed the dance floor into a vibrant celebration.

For the wedding ceremony, Harsh arrived in a beautifully decorated vintage tuk tuk instead of a traditional horse. The beachside mandap was designed to blend naturally with the surrounding landscape, allowing the sea and sky to become part of the ceremony as the couple exchanged their vows.

The reception brought the celebrations to a heartfelt close. A violinist performed beneath a tree decorated with hanging lights and surrounded by glowing candles, creating an intimate atmosphere. Guests recorded heartfelt video messages through a vintage style phone booth before welcoming the newlyweds with sparklers. Cake cutting, a celebratory champagne pop, and a spectacular fire show on the beach provided the perfect ending to a wedding that celebrated not only a beautiful destination but also a love story that had been years in the making.
