Echoing the sentiment, Deepika Gehani, founder and designer of SIMSUM Fine Jewelry, suggests following the natural curve of your ear for a flattering and balanced arrangement. "Start with larger pieces, like bold hoops or statement earrings, at the bottom, and work your way up with smaller studs or mini huggies. Mixing shapes like moons, stars, or even earcuffs adds an edge. Dangler earrings that connect one piercing to another can also make a big impact."

For a truly polished look, Gehani emphasizes the importance of creating a cohesive theme. "Choose a minimalist, edgy, or bohemian vibe, and stick to a consistent colour palette or metal type. Diamonds set in gold, for instance, always look chic. You can maybe even throw in some coloured stones in the way of studs to add an element without overwhelming the stack," she explains.
