1. The Active Bride

Stylish separates in performance fabrics, camouflage swimwear, highlighter-hued sandals, and bags branded “Sculpture” mark Off-White’s latest collection, apt for a sporty bride planning an adventurous honeymoon. Stella McCartney moves away from her usual feminine flamboyance with an androgynous collection that has a romantic touch perfect for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding lunches. It features antique linens, embellished shirts, tailored dresses, and slouchy palazzo pants that are edgy and sexy and strike a balance between street and sports.
2. The Abstract Narrative
From left to right- 1 & 2 Roksanda and 3 & 4 La DoubleJ.
A Holy Grail for every Expressionist bride, this season we see a heavy influence of art in fashion. Roksanda’s voluminous shapes, subtle colour palette, and abstract-printed dresses were beyond gorgeous. La DoubleJ had an easy-to-wear range of jackets, pants, swimsuits, and dresses; all in vibrant colours and even bolder prints.
3. Metallic Mania

Metallics get a polished update with Victoria Beckham moving away from her signature chic and minimal style with a three-piece, bronze metallic suit. Paco Robanne had a '90s razzle-dazzle vibe to it with metallic slip dresses and leopard print tights. Osman intelligently used metallics in a black trench patchworked with metallic thread and cotton vinyl that looked like liquid gold; whereas TRE by Natalie Ratabesi used metalics in its flashiest avatar and toned it down through its casual designs.
4. Clash Of Colours
From left to right- Delpozo, Roksanda, and Osman.
The colour-blocking trend resurges this season with clashes between unusual combinations at Delpozo and Osman. While Roksanda’s subdued colour palette makes the blocking a little more subtle, daring brides, who are looking to adopt unconventional trends this summer, can check out the bolder takes of Delpozo and Osman.
5. Renaissance of Romance

Lacquered lace, layered underskirts, and seductive slip dresses made the Paco Rabanne collection look like it came straight out of a seaside, retro romance novel. Elie Saab featured ruffled dresses, flowy chiffon gowns, sequin bombers, and fringed suede jackets; everything you’d need for your flawless tropical honeymoon! Giamba and Osman too played with flirty ruffles and billowy hemlines.
Take a cue from these peeping hot 2019 Resort Wear trends and you won't have to worry about what to wear for any of your wedding occasions!
