There are few Indians who don’t love a classic saree. The not-so-humble saree is a part of our everyday lives, while at the same time being revered and celebrated on runways across the world. And in a country as rich and diverse as India, there are innumerable varieties of sarees, as well as ways to drape it.
Bringing it all together under one roof is Red Earth’s annual Saree Festival. To be held from 4-6 May, the Saree Festival brings together pan-Indian handlooms from all over the country, as well as styling sessions and films celebrating the saree.
