Here's a Sneak Peek Into Lady Kitty Spencer's Fashionably Opulent Wedding Ceremony
Kitty Spencer got married to South African businessman beau Michael Lewis in Rome.
Princess Diana's niece Kitty Spencer got married to Michael Lewis in a low-key ceremony at Villa Aldobrandini, on the outskirts of Rome with her close friends and family in attendance. To no surprise, Kitty who is also the global ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana wore the designer's creation for the D-Day.
The custom-made gown included " a Victorian inspiration lace bridal gown" as shared on the designer's official Instagram handle.
Her wedding gown while heavily inspired by the Victorian era was also inspired by her mother's wedding gown back in 1989 when she got married to Earl Spencer. As per The Independent, "It also featured an impressive train that conjured up similarities with her late aunt’s famous 25ft train at her wedding to Prince Charles."
The gown's Italian Baroque style indeed was hard to miss and so was the magnificent veil. Keeping it elegant, she went for a neat hair updo and minimal soft glam makeup. Kitty also took to Instagram to extend her gratitude and wrote: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domenico & Stefano for creating a gown beyond my wildest dreams for the most important day of my life 🤍 There are no words that could ever express my gratitude @dolcegabbana 🤍"
However, that is not it. Dolce&Gabbana also shared that they designed five stunning custom-made gowns for her.
The first features her in a gorgeous powder blue tulle gown which accompanied by a sheer matching cape with cross-stitched pink flowers. The gown was worn before the main ceremony.
The next was another green gown with a sweetheart neckline with blooms carefully embroidered was worn for the post-ceremony dinner. Lastly, she was seen in a soft silk gown adorned with crystals and florals.
