Q.) HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE MUSE FOR PANKAJ & NIDHI’S FIRST COUTURE COLLECTION?

I feel quite special, especially because it is their first couture collection and it’s a very beautiful one. I feel it’s so in line with who they are and the kind of modern aesthetic that they have, very clean and not fussy and at the same time it makes a statement so that is my favourite part about it.

Q.) HOW WOULD YOU SAY PANKAJ & NIDHI’S  CLOTHING RESONATES WITH YOUR AESTHETIC & PERSONALITY?

In my opinion, Pankaj & Nidhi’s aesthetic resonates with my couture preference. I favour looking effortless when I am dressing up and my outfit to look like it belongs to me, it should appear as if even though I am wearing couture I can also be sitting and having a meal in it. When I saw my outfit for the show in a photograph I thought it was heavy but the applique work that they have done is with fine precision on leather and it is lightweight as well, even the blouson sleeve is comfortable. I was shown other options as well but this top was love at first sight and I had put my foot down on wearing this only. I refused to wear a heavy top, I do not want to look like I would wear a typical outfit.

Q.) WHAT DOES INDIAN COUTURE MEAN TO YOU?

I think it is about luxury and feeling luxurious in what you are wearing. It is about spoiling yourself and indulging in it.

Q.) COMING TO BRIDES AND WEDDING, WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM WEDDING BE?

It would be in an old house or a castle-maybe even in an old Haveli or on a beach. But if I could have both, then that would be perfect.

I believe that feeling sexy is more about how somebody looks at you instead of what you are wearing.

I have no idea, I am not a trendy person.

I love being with my friends and family and spend time with them as I don’t get to do that a lot.

I find Monica Bellucci very beautiful and Audrey Hepburn is my all-time favourite.

I mostly stalk Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, mainly to see what they are wearing.

I like London a lot and I am very fond of Europe in general.

On my 13th birthday, my grandfather gifted me something that belonged to my great-grandmother and that is my favourite piece of jewellery till now.
