Alia and Ranbir struck a beautiful chord in the mehendi photographs currently breaking the internet. Twinning once again, they celebrated their mehendi ceremony with close family and friends in attendance.

Alia shared a glimpse of the ceremony on Instagram and wrote, “It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life.”

Alia looked gorgeous in a fuchsia pink lehenga by designer Manish Malhotra. The bride Alia wore a sustainable, customised Lehenga by @manishmalhotraworld paired with a halter-cut blouse, crafted out of 180 textile patches and a melange of embroideries and embellishment details— from silver-and-gold nakashi to symbolic elements inscribed through Kashmiri and Chikankari thread work. The outfit's boho-chic vibe and kitsch elements added to the festive spirit of the even Once again opting for a no-makeup make-up look, she let her hair down and finished her look with polki jewellery housed with uncut diamonds and precious stones.

Ranbir's well-cut, striking pink kurta was simple yet stylish, paired with a smartly-tailored jacket in the exact same hue for a pared-back monotone look in keeping with the actor's classic sartorial style.

The couple held the ceremony at Ranbir's Mumbai residence, Vastu.
