On December 25th, actor Gauahar Khan tied the knot with her long-time beau Zaid Darbar in an intimate 'nikah' ceremony in Mumbai.
It was on November 5th that the couple took to Instagram to announce their engagement by posting a photograph from the proposal.

The festivities kick-started with the 'Chiksa' ceremony, the Muslim marriage equivalent of the haldi ceremony. For the occasion, Gauahar donned a bright yellow lehenga by Maayera Jaipur, that she paired with beautiful flower jewellery by Puneet Gupta. Zaid complimented his fiancée in a yellow kurta pyjama with statement yellow-tinted sunglasses.

The Chiksa ceremony was followed by the mehendi function for which Gauahar wore a Rajdeep Ranawat creation. She further accessorised her lehenga with flower jewellery by Puneet Gupta.

The mehendi event gave way to a fun-filled sangeet night for which Gauahar was spotted wearing a sharara set by Mayyur Girotra. She coupled this traditional ensemble with jewellery from Madhuban.

The couple finally got hitched on December 25th, in an intimate nikah ceremony. Gauahar wore a stunning ivory sharara set by designer Saira Shakira, that she accessorised with jewels from Razwada jewels.
