Kourtney Kardashian shares baby bump photos, calling pregnancy empowering

Pregnancy is a lot of things for an expectant mother. Empowering is one of them. Don’t believe us? Just ask Kourtney Kardashian who showed off her baby bump in a series of snaps on Instagram calling the process empowering. This post comes a week after the reality TV star, who’s expecting a child with husband and drummer, Travis Baker, underwent an emergency fetal surgery last week. 

She seems to be well on the road to recovery and captioned a carousel of images "pregnancy is so empowering" as the caption. The images see Kardashian wearing a black bra, a sheer lace black top, matching gloves, and patent leather pants.

The star had made the announcement back in June while attending a Blink-182 concert that she and Barker were expecting their first child together. She is the mother of Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight, with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick while Barker is father to son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 17, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.

Post her surgery last week, Kardashian took to Instagram to show her gratitude in a heartwarming post. 

Baker, the Blink-182 rocker, rushed home from his tour in Europe to be by his wife’s side and later gave fans an update on the baby’s health.

“I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well,” the drummer shared on Twitter last week. “I want to say thank you for all the support,” he continued, noting that the band’s tour—which had been delayed—would resume on Friday. “God is great,” Barker, 47, concluded.

The soon-to-be mom of four also noted that she gained a “whole new understanding and respect” for women who have dealt with pregnancy complications. “Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” she wrote.
