Brides Today: What is your favourite foundation when it comes to bridal makeup?
Stafford Braganza: For a bridal makeup look, it is a must to use products that are long-lasting, waterproof and give a flawless finish. My personal favourite foundation for bridal makeup and otherwise is the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Foundation. It lasts all day and gives a very promising coverage while allowing the skin to breathe. It is known to resist sweat and makes sure that you look fresh all the time.

BT: How can we pick out a foundation closest to our skin tone?
SB: Picking the right shade of foundation can be a tricky game. But for your makeup to look natural, you need a perfect base. Before you look at products, it’s very important to know the undertone of your skin – warm or cool.
For warm undertones, you can look for shades that include words like golden, honey, warm beige. On the other hand, for cool undertones look for shades that include words like sand, hazelnut, radiant beige. Once you’ve picked the colour of your foundation, it is ideal to test the product on your jawline and if the colour disappears on your skin then it is the perfect match!
BT: What are 3 must-have beauty products that are always in your vanity bag when doing bridal makeup?
SB: Concealer, mascara and lipstick have booked a fixed spot in my vanity kit. A concealer is a must-have because we need to camouflage those dark spots and marks to make the skin tone even. You need to add some drama to your look and enhance your eyes, and one can achieve that with the help of a good, voluminous mascara. And lastly, I am currently loving the L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature collection which works well to finish off your lips and can be applied as a blush and eyeshadow too.

BT: What is your *expert trick* while creating bridal makeup looks that you would like to share with the readers?
SB: For every bride, her wedding is the one day she wants to look her best is full of hopes and colours. The ideal bridal look should exude the perfect balance between current trends and elegance for it to be a classic. I am a huge believer of the glow. My trick is to use the highlighter and contour to accentuate her facial structure and give depth and dimension to the face and neck.
