Brides Today: What is your favourite foundation when it comes to bridal makeup?

Shraddha Bachani: The Avon True flawless liquid foundation is definitely my favourite. I like its dewy texture when applied. It is light on the face but still gives good coverage.

BT: How can we pick out a foundation closest to our skin tone?

SB: It can be pretty tricky choosing a foundation but once you do, it's a match made in heaven! First, start by determining whether the foundation has yellow or peach undertones to accurately find your shade.

Products with yellow undertones complement medium to deep Indian skin tones while those with peach undertones are more suited for fairer skin tones.

So, choose your foundation by going for a tone that matches your own skin the closest. However, for concealer, you need to go a tone lighter for best results.

BT: What are 3 must-have beauty products that are always in your vanity bag when doing bridal makeup?

SB:It’s definitely foundation, eyeliner and lipstick. I quite like the Avon True Super Definition Eyeliner. It is one of the best liners I have used and gives a very defined edge and has a deep shade too. I also like to carry Avon True Colour Lipstick because it can double up as a blush and an eyeshadow tint too.
