British artist, Sue Tilley conquered the world of FENDI, casting a spell on the label’s leather goods for men with her illustrations featuring everyday objects. The guest artist was specially chosen by Silvia Venturini Fendi to collaborate with their Men’s Spring/Summer ’18 Collection. For this collection, FENDI presented an extensive range of leather goods – from boston bags to flat pouches, all showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of Tilley’s artworks, which perfectly fused the Maison’s polished skill with the humour prevalent in the collections of FENDI Men.

Commenting on the occasion, Silvia Venturini Fendi said, “For the FENDI Men’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection, Sue Tilley has been working on everyday objects, those objects that are normally on everyone’s desk like a telephone, a banana and a lamp”. The idea of using everyday objects thrilled Fendi, as it brought in fantasy and innovation into the monotony of life, which she believes, would be used in the future, “because things” might be “changing, but fantasy and creativity are something really linked to human beings and it’s the only thing that can’t be replaced”.FENDI Men's S/S '18 Men's Peekaboo Fit Mini
The collection is a fusion of Tilley’s satirical works, and the refined Selleria Cuoio Romano leather. Coupled with the fine workmanship of the FENDI artisans, inherited from the Roman master saddlers, the label presents an eclectic collection of statement pieces, and new shapes for men in a classic colour palette of black, blue, grey and brown.
