Real Weddings: A Quirky Phone Proposal and A Happily Ever After

An eight-year-old friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship and ultimately, a spectacular wedding. Ritu and Abhishek's story began when a common friend introduced the two. Years later, Abhishek popped the question in a rather unique way. He changed his name on Ritu's phone as 'Will you marry me?', and called her. Ritu was so surprised and informed Abishek that someone named will you marry me was calling her! It was at that moment that Abhishek went down his knees with a beautiful ring and popped the question. The answer was a 'YES!' While the wedding was everything Indian and more it showcased a transition into an elegant affair of muted and chic tones. As the groom Abhishek quotes, "every photograph captured makes me relive my wedding even today." (Photographs:  WhatKnotIn)
