Taapsee Pannu recently tied the knot with her partner of 10 years, Mathias Boe, in an intimate ceremony that perfectly encapsulated her vision of her wedding day. In an exclusive interview with Brides Today last year, the actor revealed her desire for a single-day affair adorned in tasteful colours, reflecting her penchant for simplicity and elegance.
"I want to savour every moment," Pannu shared, emphasising her preference for a celebration devoid of unnecessary extravagance. As someone who isn't particularly nocturnal, she envisioned a daytime wedding, where she could bask in the warmth of love and laughter with her nearest and dearest.
The wedding, planned by Weddingwale along with decor by The Wedding Factory, unfolded seamlessly, with every element curated to perfection. From the ethereal decor to the infectious beats spun by DJ Ganesh, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Delraaz Bunshah and band, each detail resonated with the couple's unique love story. Guests revelled in the joyous atmosphere, indulging in sumptuous cocktails by The Bartender House, and savouring delectable cuisine. With hair and makeup styled to perfection by Seema Mane and Evania Pannu, Pannu glowed with an inner radiance that outshone even the most dazzling of decorations.
Taapsee's bridal entry was straight out of a fairytale! The actor sashayed down the aisle and towards her groom on a romantic Punjabi song called 'Tappe' by Gurlez Akhtar and Ranjit Bawa. She was dressed in a gorgeous red Punjabi salwar suit by designer, Mani Bhatia, while her beau, Mathias Boe opted for a cream sherwani.
For Pannu, her dream wedding had two non-negotiables: ample dancing and a delectable spread. "It needs to be basic and drama-free," she asserted. Pannu also confessed her fondness for Sikh weddings, known for their briefer rites. Fast forward to March 22, 2024, Pannu's dream wedding unfolded in the enchanting city of Udaipur. Surrounded by their loved ones, Pannu and Boe exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur.
