Parfait India caters to clients who wish to experiment with unique flavour combinations for their wedding cake. Her clients either go for a Chocolate Hazelnut Cake with hazelnut brittle and topped with their signature handmade roses; or a White Cake with seasonal berries. Another cake with flavours that are a match made in heaven, the Dark Chocolate Orange Mascarpone Cake, with candied oranges and orange blossom cream, sounds like a delight.

A staunch believer in fresh ingredients and produce, Smriti Mehra doesn't believe in compromising on the quality of the cake. Despite reducing the content of fondant utilised in the making of the cake, as it takes away from it's overall taste, she somehow manages to maintain the 'wow' factor.

Living by the "less is more" mantra, their Special Pink Champagne cake is another crowd pleaser. Pink champagne-infused vanilla sponge, filled with raspberry mousse and finished with a fluffy vanilla buttercream doesn't sound any lesser than a dream come true.

When speaking about unique cake flavours, Radhika Gupta goes ahead and puts forth that while pairing cake flavours, they prefer not to combine more than 2 or 3 flavours that go well together.

Can you ever really go wrong with chocolate? Ambrosia's Ultimate Chocolate Cake, a devil’s food cake paired with chocolate ganache, is a client favourite. A rich and indulgent cake, besides being mouth-watering, is also a people-pleaser during winter weddings.

Pooja Dhingra states that, "While most people prefer to play it safe and go for chocolate, a large number of clients are asking for different flavours such as caramel, hazelnut and coconut." She also claims that people seem to be moving away from traditional flavours such as plum, and instead go for flavours like chocolate, red velvet, caramel and coconut for their wedding cakes.
While the external features of the cake remain partly constant, a white wedding cake with flowers; the core of the cake seems to have changed. Working closely with the to-be couple, Le15 Patisserie and Cafe ensure that they meet the demands and desires of the couple for their special day. All the quirky and unique flavour combinations requested by clients are entertained and often fulfilled. If not, the closest alternative is found.
