Living Through a Pandemic

Mayuresh and I enjoy going for long drives and watching movies at home. We make a conscious effort to strike a balance between spending time with the family and with each other.

My Advice

It is extremely important to prioritise those aspects of the wedding that mean the most to you, and to be true to yourself. The complexity of wedding planning, the multiple suggestions that keep coming your way, and the endless decisions can get overwhelming.

Memorable Moments

We had an intimate wedding that radiated love and warmth. While it is tough to narrow the most special memory down to a single moment, walking down the stairs of Umaid Bhawan Palace to the wedding mandap was a feeling that will remain in my heart forever.

The Big Day

Just the thought of planning a wedding during the ongoing global pandemic was daunting. The sheer uncertainty around the changing governmental regulations and travel restrictions meant that we had to rely on digital mediums to communicate and finalise every single element. However, our wedding planner helped us navigate the entire process smoothly.

The Proposal

During a family trip to Dubai, Mayuresh took me on a helicopter ride and popped the question! He says his heart was racing, and I had tears in my eyes. Post the surprise proposal amidst the clouds, we officially got engaged on a yacht, surrounded by our respective families.

How We Met

Mayuresh and I were introduced to each other while we were studying in London, and met occasionally with friends. Soon, we began spending more time together, which led to sneaking out of class to go out on dates, getting to know each other better, and accepting one other for who we truly are...
