Ronak Kimmane and Sonali Santosh’s love story was destiny in the making
Fate worked its magic here, and Brides Today got an inside look.
Some love stories are written long before the first meeting, unfolding one step at a time. For Ronak Kimmane, CEO & founder of Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort, and Sonali Santosh, co-founder of 108 Wellness, fate worked its clandestine magic, coming to the fore when the time was right…
How they met
“Our story is truly one of serendipity. Sonali is from London, and I’m from Shimoga in Karnataka. We were introduced through a simple word-of-mouth connection. Little did we know that our families had known each other for over 20 years, yet our paths had never crossed until this magical moment. What began as an innocent conversation soon blossomed into something much deeper. We connected instantly. It was as though everything had aligned perfectly, bringing us together when we least expected it.”
The next step
“The decision to take that next step felt almost instinctual. There was no grand moment of doubt or second-guessing—just a quiet certainty that this was the right path. For both of us, being together felt like home. It wasn’t about the grand gestures or flashy declarations; it was about the deep sense of peace we found in each other.”
Leading up to the big day
“Wedding planning was a whirlwind! With 4,000 guests on the list, the scale of the celebration was enormous. From venue selection to catering, décor and entertainment, there were countless moving parts to manage. We were fortunate to work with an exceptional event organiser, Mr Sunil from the Iksha Group. His incredible team took charge of all the logistics. From the smallest touches to the grandest moments, not a single detail was overlooked. Sonali’s experience and attention to detail made the entire process much smoother. It was an intense few months, but we were able to enjoy the journey, knowing we had the best team by our side. Gaurav, my closest friend, nailed it with the catering for all the events.”
Memories that will last a lifetime
“It was the people, the love and the connection that made it all so magical. There were quiet, intimate moments during the ceremony that brought everyone to tears, as well as exuberant celebrations that followed. One particularly special memory was the first time we saw each other on the wedding day; it was as though time stood still. The joy and emotion were overwhelming. Another unforgettable moment was on the dance floor, where there was so much energy, laughter and just pure happiness. We will forever cherish these moments that are engraved in our hearts.”
My advice
“On the decision to get married, our advice is simple: trust your instincts and don’t overthink it. When you’re with the right person, everything falls into place. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—when it feels right, it’s right. As for wedding planning, having a strong support system is important, especially when it comes to logistics. We were fortunate to have an incredible team and family who guided us every step of the way.”
