Who is Revati Sule? The bride whose wedding brought together the Ambanis, Adanis, Shah Rukh Khan and India’s biggest names

For a few days now, social media has been flooded with videos from one of the most talked-about weddings of the year. From Shah Rukh Khan dancing to his iconic songs to the presence of some of India’s most influential business leaders, politicians and celebrities, Revati Sule’s wedding quickly became one of the most trending topics in the country. But who exactly is the bride at the centre of all this attention?

Revati Sule is the daughter of Member of Parliament Supriya Sule and businessman Sadanand Sule. She is also the granddaughter of veteran politician Sharad Pawar, making her part of one of Maharashtra’s most prominent political families. Despite her well-known family background, Revati has largely stayed away from the public spotlight and maintained a relatively private life.

Academically, Revati has an impressive profile. She completed her undergraduate studies at St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, before pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the London School of Economics. Unlike many children of political families who actively enter public life at a young age, Revati has preferred to keep a lower profile, focusing on her education and professional interests.

On June 20, 2026, Revati married businessman Sarang Lakhani in Mumbai. Sarang is the son of industrialist and businessman Arun Lakhani of the Nagpur-based Vishvaraj Group. He is also known for his sporting achievements, having represented India in badminton before joining the family business. He later earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

The wedding reflected the influence and reach of both families. Held at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre, the celebrations brought together leaders from politics, business, and entertainment under one roof. Videos from the pre-wedding festivities went viral after Shah Rukh Khan was seen dancing with the bride and groom.
