It was the year of love.

It's undeniable that 2023 has been a year steeped in romance and love, particularly within the glittering realm of Bollywood. The tinsel town witnessed the union of some of its most beloved stars, turning the year into a saga of dreamy weddings that left fans swooning. From Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra to Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadda, Bollywood celebs graced us with a series of exceptionally beautiful weddings. So, here’s us taking a look back at Bollywood’s most dreamy weddings in the year 2023.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul

Earlier this year, the couple, who had been in a long-term relationship, exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony set against the backdrop of picturesque mountains at their Khandala farmhouse. Their wedding, in every sense, epitomised the essence of a dream wedding. Athiya adorned soft pastels throughout her ceremonies. For the wedding, she donned a Chikanraki lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna, while Rahul looked resplendent in an ivory sherwani crafted by the same designer. Shetty's wedding posts garnered collective 'awws' from the Internet.

Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra

Designer Masaba Gupta tied the knot with Satyadeep Mishra this year in a rather unconventional yet gorgeous lehenga. Opting for an intimate court marriage ceremony, Gupta radiated elegance in a Barfi lehenga, a dazzling creation from the House of Masaba's latest bridal collection. Meanwhile, Mishra, whom the designer met on the sets of her Netflix show Masaba Masaba' complemented the occasion in a sherwani also from the same exquisite collection.

Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra

Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra had the ultimate wedding of the year, which took the Internet by storm. The lyrics of Ranjha that played during Kiara’s bridal entry, were on our minds well after a couple of months of the wedding. Advani wore a stunning pink lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra, while the groom, Siddharth Malhotra, donned a resplendent golden zardozi sherwani by the same designer.

Sonnalli Seygall and Ashesh L Sajnani

Sonnalli Seygall, the actress known for Pyaar Ka Punchnama, made a striking statement with her wedding lehenga, solidifying pink as the undeniable favourite colour among brides this year. In a traditional and intimate ceremony, she exchanged vows with businessman Ashesh L Sajnani. Seygall complemented her pink lehenga with a soft glam make-up look and paired it with emerald jewelry, adding an extra touch of elegance to the occasion.

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram

Last month, actor Randeep Hooda tied the knot with his partner, Lin Laishram in a traditional Meitei wedding held in Imphal. The bride wore a potloi skirt, a traditional garment crafted from fabric and bamboo. Her attire featured intricate religious motifs hand-embroidered by skilled weavers. Their wedding served as a cultural feast and as a subtle reminder to stay connected with one's roots and heritage.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadda

Despite expressing her previous inclination to avoid marrying a politician, Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with Raghav Chaddha, a Member of Parliament, this year. Their wedding, resembling a scene from a movie, featured the bride and groom in muted toned outfits. Parineeti opted to wear the ever-popular designer for Bollywood brides, Manish Malhotra, while Chaddha, looked dapper in an off-white sherwani, put together by his uncle, designer Pawan Sachdeva.
