It was a suitably sparkly affair at the 2017 Fashion Awards, held on the 4th of December. With Swarovski as a partner for the event, a sea of guests descended in ample shimmer and shine on London's Royal Albert Hall, ready to celebrate the finest creative visionaries in the fashion and beauty industries. Nominees were chosen from hundreds of international names representing the most creative talent and innovative businesses of the year. An emotionally charged celebration, the event had fashion’s finest pay homage to industry veterans of the past and bright young talents of the future.

Models Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn

Dior's Maria Grazia Chiuri acknowledged the late Franca Sozzani (editor, Vogue Italia), while Naomi Campbell and an assemblage of models presented a powerful message that while stalwart fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa might have passed away, his legacy will live on. A teary-eyed Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour presented the Outstanding Contribution to British Fashion Award to Christopher Bailey of Burberry, who thanked his husband, Simon Woods for his “devilishly handsome” support.
