Brides Today: What kind of lehenga did you want for your wedding? Did you ever dream of the perfect lehenga?
Shivani Girdhar Bhatia: My dream wedding lehenga was a vision of pastel elegance with intricate embroidery and a touch of glamour through Swarovski detailing. The desire for a Tarun Tahiliani creation began when I wore a Tarun Tahiliani sari for my graduation - that was the first time I ever wore a saree! I cherished the craftsmanship and beauty and donned Tahiliani for all my special occasions.
BT: How did you decide on ‘the one’ lehenga?
SGB: Choosing 'the one' lehenga was a journey filled with awe at Tarun Tahiliani's atelier. The customisation options, stunning embroidered patches, and the personalised experience made the decision special. From the unique floral spread on my veil to the Swarovski embellishments, every detail felt like a dream.
BT: Why did you pick Tarun Tahiliani for the look?
SGB: It was a natural choice, inspired by the unparalleled beauty of Tarun Tahiliani brides and the cherished memories of wearing a TT sari for my graduation. The craftsmanship and unique touches set his creations apart.
BT: What do you love the most about your look?
SGB: What I love most about my look is the perfection in every detail. The custom-designed veil with flowers and Swarovski, the intricate embroidery, and the unique blouse with a front drape and embellished Swarovski belt add to the beauty while maintaining the elegance required for a Gurudwara wedding.
BT: How do you feel in that outfit?
SGB: Wearing this outfit is like stepping into a dream. The way it falls, the unique design elements, and the overall feel give me a vision of elegance and beauty. It's not just an outfit; it's a piece of art that encapsulates the magic of the moment.
