Sara Ali Khan debuts on the runway for couturier Falguni Shane Peacock at ICW’19.

Inspired by the ornate architecture and imperial era of Jaipur, Falguni Shane Peacock’s India Couture Week 2019 collection ‘Bonjour Amer’ with showstopper Sara Ali Khan celebrated not only the label’s timelessness but their journey of fifteen years as well.

Bonjour Amer is fabricated maintaining the harmony between Indian grandeur and the sensibilities of an International bride. Despite the muse being overwhelmingly regal, the label’s classic sensibilities ran it smoothly on a palette of Spanish vanilla, lavender fog, smoke green, ballet pink, Tuscan gold and midnight blue.

While the Cinderella gown-silhouette with asymmetrical layering elaborated the conventional notion set for couture it was the zardozi and appliqué that wove magic in the lehengas graced furthermore by sweeping trails. However, to maintain the intrigue intact, the couturier retorted to sheer fabric and net for the blouses and with the heavily adorned sarees following the reverie, the collection completed itself to be on every bride’s radar.

As showstopper Sara Ali Khan left everybody awestruck in an ivory-coloured trailing lehenga with a buckle, heavily embroidered with Resham threads and embellished further with sequins. The designer quoted on their journey and collection,  'As we embark on our fifteenth year in fashion and reflect on the journey so far, we are immensely proud and happy of what the Falguni Shane Peacock label stands for today. As many new opportunities and milestones beckon, the India Couture Week 2019 show celebrates our commitment to showcasing the best of Indian grandeur and heritage in our couture creations that can be worn with pride anywhere in the world”
