Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor, Laura Dern recently bagged her first beauty campaign—as the face of Kate Spade’s new fragrance.

As diversity becomes an ever-important discourse in the beauty and fashion advertisement sector, we have recently witnessed the much-overdue shift towards better representation of genders, skin colours, and people of different age groups in ads. Following suit, Kate Spade, an American fashion design house recently cast actor Laura Dern as the face of its new fragrance campaign.

Dern has starred in shows such as Big Little Lies, Enlightened, and Recount and has also acted in several Hollywood films, winning the Golden Globe Award on three occasions and an Emmy on one. This is the first beauty campaign for the 51-year-old actor, director, and producer, and she looks ethereal in the campaign for In Full Bloom.

Shot in black and white, the campaign also stars Sasheer Zamata of SNL fame, 31, and Rookie founder Tavi Gevinson, 21. Watch the full ad campaign below:
