Why Celebs Love This Scary Yet Mesmerising Facial From South Korea
Hanacure, a skincare brand from South Korea claims to have developed an in-house facial that delivers a transformative experience in 30 minutes. And celebrities like Drew Barrymore and January Jones are all for it!
The Hanacure All-In-One Facial claims to tighten, brighten, contour, and diminish the appearance of wrinkles to give you a restored and youthful appearance - all in 30 minutes. The brand also claims that with dedicated use, your skin will continually improve, relegating age to truly becoming nothing but a number. While we are currently absorbing this information with a pinch of salt, Hollywood's A-listers are currently going ga-ga over the new in-home treatment.
The star of hit show Mad Men and films such as X-Men: First Class, January Jones tried the mask and the results were not what she expected. 'The box said to 'expect intense tightening' but yo.. this is for real intense. My shit(my face), better go back in place after I wash it off (sic),' said Jones on Instagram after trying the mask.
Drew Barrymore, known for her experiments with beauty products (she is the founder of Flower Beauty), also tried the Hanacure mask and said it made her look '10 years younger'. Here's what she said after trying it, '#beautyjunkieweek this is a @hanacureeffect mask @thehanacurenuts when you take it off you are 10 years younger. You paint it on with a brush. It starts to dry. It pulls. It gets so tight that it literally pulls your face. See above. But, It makes you look so fresh when you wash it off. And it's so effective. How fun is that in a package. #notttooenvasivebeauty#kbeauty thank you @crystalmeers for the info that's changed my life (sic)'.
British drag queen and makeup artist, Alexis Stone was one of the other celebrities to try out Hanacure's in-house treatments and even put out a Youtube video with details and experiences.
While we are a bit taken aback by how this mask looks once it is on, going by the testimonials of a number of celebrities it actually works. And even though the product appears to be sold out on the website often, they've just restocked. We can't wait to get our hands on it here.
