Celebrity brides who are making a case for ivory lehengas

From Alia Bhatt to Alana Panday, this neutral colour is taking over!

2022 saw celebrity brides walking right past the traditional red and maroon shades and opting for ivory gold shades instead. And now, this new neutral outfit wedding trend has found its way into 2023 as well and we can’t be happier. From Alia Bhatt’s Sabyasachi sari to Ananya Panday’s Manish Malhotra lehenga choli, take some inspiration from these celebrity brides.

Alia Bhatt

For her 2022 wedding with her longtime beau Ranbir Kapoor, Alia chose a gorgeous ivory sari with gold floral embroidery by Sabyasachi.

When Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with Karan Boolani in 2021, she adorned a ivory sari with a half-sleeved blouse and a cape all with intricate gold thread work by Anamika Khanna.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s was extravagance at its best. And while Deepika donned numerous stunning outfits through it all, this ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ivory lehenga-sari that she wore for her reception in Bangalore stands out.

Arpita Mehta

For her nuptials with Kunal Rawal, Arpita Mehta created an outfit that made her look like something straight out of a fairytale. She wore an ivory-gold cutdana mirror work lehenga set (with over 18k mirrors) and even embroidered her and Rawal’s initials in French knots.

Alana Panday

The latest celebrity to join the ivory-bride club is Alana Panday. For her nuptials with her long-time beau Ivor Mcray, Panday stepped out in an ivory-cream Manish Malhotra lehenga set that made her look like nothing short of a princess.
