Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are finally married and our collective hearts are jumping with joy! The couple shared snippets from their intimate wedding ceremony and we are here for it. But, if you look closely, you'll notice how Katrina kept it simple and made a decisive case for a minimalist bride. Seen in a classic red Sabyasachi lehenga, it was imperative that she kept her makeup sublime. If you are a fan of her look or are getting hitched anytime soon, trust us, this is the look you should save.
Below, we have the look decoded for you (you can thank us later)!
Katrina's matte makeup look was done by celebrity makeup artist Daniel Bauer. The look although simple was supremely elegant. It is something that the Namaste London actor has been sported pulling off-screen too.
The actor was seen in a flawless base that was accompanied by kohl-rimmed eyes that accentuated her features and barely-there lip colour.
Daniel used an earth-brown tone shade to offer dimension to her lids and also opted for a light contour for a sunkissed effect. Additionally, generous coats of mascara were used to achieve fluttery lashes and her eyebrows were kept natural with thin hairline strokes mimicking the natural shape of her brows.
The look was finished with a natural sheen offered by a golden-toned highlighter and pink nude lipshade.
If you want to recreate her look, the key point to remember is less is more. Your makeup should enhance your features—stick to a luminous base and do not go overboard with contour. However, consider using a muted pink-toned blush to add some colour to your face.
Her hair was pulled together with a mid-rise bun done by hairstylist Amit Thakur in order to let her mathapatti, jhumkis, and nath garner attention.
