And, let's be real, EVERY beauty enthusiast must own a lipstick that pairs like a dream, complementing her flurry of ethnic and western ensembles. Below, two beauty experts elucidate the factors to consider when purchasing a nude lip shade. 

"The best way to find the ideal nude lip involves understanding what your skin undertone is. If you possess a warm undertone, opt for a shade that has a tinge of orange or yellow. Alternatively, if you possess a cool undertone, with splashes of pinkish-red across the skin, choose a lipstick that has a red or pink hue," explains Namrata Soni, Founder of Simply Nam. Fair complexions should turn to light, rose shades. Whereas, medium tones should pick peach-hued lipsticks. Caramel to darker skin tones must opt for rich, chocolatey shades. 

Chandni Goyal, Head of Training at Anastasia Beverly Hills, adds, "Another important factor to consider while searching for the perfect nude lipstick involves lifting your upper lip and purchasing a shade that is as close to the natural colour of your gums. If your teeth are slightly yellow, pick warmer browns. On the other hand, if you have shiny, pearly whites, a cool neutral pink-brown would work best for you."
