If bad hair days are a reality then, so are bad skin days! We all have faced days when our skin looks and feels meh...despite all the care and love you show. So, we spoke to a few skin experts to share what you can do to make sure you never have to face a bad skin day.

"I think some of the changes that can dramatically improve your skin could include something as simple as icing your face before applying your makeup to reduce the appearance of pores. Taking 5 minutes out to use a jade roller (properly) helps lymphatic drainage and boost blood circulation. A shot of aloe vera and amla juice or a functional food like apple cider vinegar goes a long way too."

"Caring for your skin beforehand is a must. I advocate using gentle cleansers and sticking to the regime: Hydrate, Moisturise, Sunscreen. Always remove makeup before going to bed."

"For sudden breakouts, you can apply Vaseline on top of the zit in the morning and evening. You can even mix it with a touch of Cureac Lotion once a day. Remember not to overdo it or you will irritate your skin. If you are battling dryness, use an intense moisturiser like Venusia Cream, Reequil Ceramide Cream, or Cetaphil Cream. Also - try masking with Vaseline jelly once or twice a week. No, it won't cause zits!"

"For day time it never takes me more than 5 minutes to get my makeup on, but for going out at night to a fancy party and I’m wearing an evening outfit then I do everything and it takes a lot longer than 5 minutes! Putting on my eye design along (which for me includes false eyelashes) takes at least 5 to 10 minutes!"
