How to Use: “For chronic acne, apply 1 drop of tea tree essential oil directly on the affected area pimples,” advises Blossom.
 

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender essential oils are ultra-soothing for the skin. It is antibacterial and kills acne-causing bacteria. It prevents skin dryness and heals painful acne breakouts.

How to Use: Gently apply diluted lavender essential oil by dabbing it on the cleansed affected area. Allow it to dry. “You can also mix a few drops of lavender essential oil to a toner or a moisturiser and use it regularly,” adds Blossom.


Rose essential oil

Rose oil helps promote beautiful, radiant skin. It helps control acne as it has antiseptic properties. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce redness or and skin sensitivity. 

How to Use: Add 2-3 drops of rose essential oil to any massage cream and apply it on your face regularly. Mix a few drops of rose essential oil with water in a spray bottle and use it as a face mist.

Juniper Berry Essential Oil

It is a natural antiseptic. It helps combat acne. It is enriched with anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties which help fight bacteria that cause acne. It also soothes any inflammation or redness on the skin.

How to Use: “Dab 2-3 drops of juniper berry essential oil onto the affected area and leave it overnight,” says Blossom. You can also add 1-2 drops of Juniper Berry essential oil to your face lotion or moisturiser. Mix it well and use it for the day and the night.
