5 cleansing juices to include in your pre-wedding diet

These are easy to make as well!

The run up to the wedding day, especially the month before the big day, can be stressful and erratic, and one of the first few things it will affect is your diet. You may go hungry for a good half of the day, without realising it while you run errands, or may occasionally have the craving to eat greasy, junk food—we know how comforting fried potato chips and cheese-burst pizzas can be! But as you inch closer to the big day, it is important to fight these cravings and remember that everything you eat or drink has a huge impact on our physical and mental well-being, as well as your appearance.

I am not saying you have to completely give up junk. But it’s important to regularly cleanse your body of the toxins indulgent food habits can cause to accumulate. Here are cleansing juices you need to include in your diet for that glow, from within! You can thank us later...

Muskmelon mint juice

It’s not only a great detox juice but also serves well as a cooler. Blend muskmelon into a smooth puree and add a couple of mint leaves to it. Add more water if you want to make it less thick. It’s best served with ice, but you can skip it if you’re concerned about your throat.

Coriander lemon juice

Grind one cup of coriander with one tsp lemon juice and one cup water. Add more water according to the consistency you desire. This juice is loaded with antioxidants which fight free radicals and keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Celery apple juice

You can make this with a combination of green and red apples. Process the apples and celery in a juicer, and add a tsp of lemon juice and sugar to it. You can top it with a couple of mint leaves. It improves your heart health and cognition. It is also known to work on reducing acne and delaying ageing.

Carrot and parsley juice

Add carrot, parsley and celery sticks (optional) in a juicer. Add ice cubes and consume immediately. This one’s not the best for a mixer so be mindful of that. This is rich in vitamin C and folic acid, which are great for your skin. It boosts immunity and maintains healthy blood sugar levels.

Pineapple ginger juice

Add a little ginger and turmeric to your pineapple juice and have it every morning for a power-packed day ahead. This juice is great for detox and is best had on an empty stomach. It improves asthmatic symptoms, reduces inflammation and improves immunity.
