Curator extraordinaire, Tehiya Narvel, spills the secret behind the perfect destination wedding.
Tehiya Narvel on destination wedding, "It’s always nice to have a little history attached to where you say ‘I do’. I personally suggest Switzerland— the iconic properties it has truly showcase the outdoors. My favourites are Kulm Hotel St. Mortiz, the Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel, and Fairmont le Montreux Palace. Given the wedding is in the lap of nature, think simple-yet-bold accents for the décor. I love the idea of adding hints of gold, shades of coral and blush—they seamlessly blend in and still add value."

"Keep your look clean and pretty, and don an ensemble that is opulent yet comfortable. The focus, however, must be on your makeup, think fresh and modern, and something that lasts the entire day of festivities. For the food, indulge in local ingredients that can be prepared across various live stations and be served in an al fresco setting. A large dessert buffet is a sure shot crowd pleaser and goes a long way. But most of all, don’t forget to have fun and plan the wedding that makes you happy."
