Evelyn Sharma and Tushaan Bhindi Welcome a Baby Girl
The 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' actor took to Instagram to share the first glimpse of Ava.
In July, actor Evelyn Sharma announced her pregnancy with Tushaan Bhindi less than two months after their intimate wedding in Australia. The celebrity took to Instagram to share a selfie while unwinding on a poolside lounger, cradling her baby bump, and wrote, "Can’t wait to hold you in my arms."
A few hours ago, the actor took to Instagram to share the first glimpse of her newborn daughter, Ava. The new mommy wrote, "The most important role of my life." Celebrities including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonal Chauhan, and Elli Avrram commented on the picture, sending across their good wishes.
Recounting her romantic proposal during a trip to Australia, Evelyn Sharma told Brides Today in an exclusive interview, "Among all things great and Aussie, my favourite memory, of course, is when Tushaan proposed to me with the Harbour Bridge in the backdrop."
The couple tied the knot on 15th May in Brisbane after being engaged for over a year. The German-born actor—who is best known for her roles in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Yaariyan, and Saaho—revealed that while they had initially planned on a big wedding, they opted for low-key nuptials in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sharing her pregnancy story on Instagram, on one of her posts, Evelyn had asked her fans for parenting advice. "We’re so excited to step into this new role of parenthood, but after reading books and speaking to people, it seems there’s nothing that can ever truly prepare you for it," she said.
The actor has also created a brand new Instagram page for her daughter Ava Rania Bhindi. The Instagram handle's bio reads, "The world through my eyes," and the account will be managed by none other than Evelyn herself. Take a look at the first post on Ava's Instagram page!
