Dr Deepali Bhardwaj, cosmetologist, dermatologist and founder of Skin and Hair clinics suggests a few superfoods that you need to eat for blemish free, and glowing skin.

    Add these to your salads or smoothies. "They increase internal oil and fatty acids in the body, improving overall hydration of the skin," adds Dr Deepali.

    Yellow peppers are rich in Vitamin C, which is essential to the formation and growth of skin tissue and for building collagen. According to a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition, people who ate more and green vegetables were less prone to wrinkles and crows feet than those who did not.

    Make sure you munch on to then in between meals. They are a good source of vitamin E, which helps repair damaged skin cells and protects against sun damage. Almonds are also one of the best source of of dairy-free calcium.

    Eating whole eggs can be beneficial for your skin. The yolk is rich in vitamins that are essential for proper cell function and contain biotin, which helps protect skin from acne, rashes and dryness.

    Add this to your daily diet. Lycopene, the phytochemical that give tomatoes the red colour, helps boosts collagen and keeps the skin taut. It also protects you from UV rays by warding off skin-ageing free radicals.
